On Tuesday February 23, from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm, The Family and Youth Law Center will be hosting, Locked Up and Alone: Realities of Solitary Confinement for Adults and Youth in Ohio. This event will include a presentation and panel discussion on solitary confinement of people in Ohio’s various systems and will provide an opportunity to learn about the impact that solitary has on an individual and a community. The presenters include: Andrew Brennan who is an Attorney from Disability Right Ohio, Adrienne Gavula who is the Regional Office Director & Development Director at the ACLU of Ohio, and Rickell Howard who is the Ohio Litigation and Policy Director at the Children’s Law Center, Inc.
