SO! If you're reading this, guess what?! You've made it pass your first week of midterms...now to get through the rest of them😓. But, with me to guide you, I know you've got this! Here are your week 2 hacks to get through midterms!
- I'm going to take it back to last week with this hack, because THAT'S how important it is! Get some feedback. If you listened and actually went to your professor for practice questions or took the practice exams that your professors posted, go and talk your answers through with your professor. The feedback that you receive will help you learn what your professor wants on the exam and may help your grade in the end.
- Outlining. If you haven't began outlining, you're not TOO FAR behind but you are, sad to say! Outlining should really begin around the second or third week of class. You don't want to be outlining during the midterm period. You want to be going over what you outlined and understood weeks before. Imagine outlining the week of midterms, JUST TO FIND OUT you don't actually understand Consideration like you thought you did during week 2 of the school year.
- Now, this is important. Take the advice of 2Ls and 3Ls with a grain of salt. Not all advice is created equal and not all advice will help you. It's nice to hear other students' opinions about exams and their preparation tactics and possible bounce some of your ideas off of them. But, do not try to make their tactics your own. Listen to the advice but be cautious with actually applying it to your life.
That's all the life hacks for this week! KEEP STUDYING!
