What to do in Columbus this Weekend (That isn't Schoolwork)


This Weekend in Columbus! 

Unfortunately the Blue Jackets are away this weekend but you can watch them battle the Vegas Golden Knights at 10 PM on Saturday in restaurants in the arena district. 

There are four movies opening Friday:

- 1917: A British soldier attempt to warn his brother he is walking into an ambush. 

- Like a Boss: Tensions Rise when owners of a cosmetics company receive a buyout offer from an industry titan.

- Underwater: Mysterious creatures terrorize members aboard a research station at the bottom of the ocean.

- Just Mercy: The story of, Bryan Stevenson, a man who fought to bring justice to those defendants who were wrongly condemned or insufficiently represented

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There are no classes on Monday. 


Thursday is the WLA Mentorship Kickoff event. If you applied to be part of the program then be on the look out for an email this week or next.

On Saturday, from 7 pm to Midnight, is the Columbus Beerfest 

On Saturday, from 6 pm to 11 pm, is the Buckeye Throwdown fest

On Sunday, from 8 am to 10 pm, is the Buckeye Open Nationals
