This Week: What's Happening at Capital University Law School?

           On Tuesday February 23, from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm, The Family and Youth Law Center will be hosting, Locked Up and Alone: Realities of Solitary Confinement for Adults and Youth in Ohio. This event will include a presentation and panel discussion on solitary confinement of people in Ohio’s various systems and will provide an opportunity to learn about the impact that solitary has on an individual and a community. The presenters include: Andrew Brennan who is an Attorney from Disability Right Ohio, Adrienne Gavula who is the Regional Office Director & Development Director at the ACLU of Ohio, and Rickell Howard who is the Ohio Litigation and Policy Director at the Children’s Law Center, Inc. Also, don't forget! On Saturday February 20, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Capital University Law School will be holding an Experience Capital Law Open House for future students. Prospective students will have an opportunity to tour the building, learn about financial aid, participate in a mock class, and get their questions about law school answered.
