Hello Everyone,
The
Office of Professional Development and the Women’s Law Association will be
hosting their annual Dress for Success Presentation. The presentations will
take place Wednesday, October 21 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The Men’s
presentation will take place in Room 241 and the Women’s presentation will take
place in Room 245. This event will teach law students how to build and maintain
a professional wardrobe. In addition, the presenters will provide tips on what
to wear to different kinds of networking events and interviews. This is a great event to learn what dressing
like a professional means and to answer any questions you might have concerning
your wardrobe in a professional atmosphere. This event will also include alumni
guests and free food.
Also,
the Environmental and Energy Law Society will be hosting Robert Brubaker, from Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, who
will be speaking on what it is like to be an environmental lawyer. There will
also be other lawyers at the event, in various field of Environmental law, to
give advice and guidance on your career path. The event is taking place
Wednesday, October 21 at 11:45 am in Room A-121!
