Hello Everyone,
On
Wednesday, November 4 the Office of Professional Development will be welcoming
Capital University Law School alumnus, Brian Brokate for a lunch presentation.
Mr. Brokate is a law partner with Gibney, Anthony, & Flaherty, LLP. Gibney,
Anthony & Flaherty, LLP is a law firm with offices in New York and San
Francisco, and Mr. Brokate is the head of the firm’s IP practice group. His
lunch presentation will include: advice and guidance for practice success,
non-legal skills necessary for success, and much more. The lunch presentation
will take place from 12pm to 12:50pm in Room 242.
The
37th John E. Sullivan Lecture will be taking place on Thursday, November 12
from 3pm to 7pm. The feature speaker
this year is Dorothy Roberts who is a George A. Weiss University Professor of Law
and Sociology, and Raymond Pace and Sadie Turner Mossell Alexander Professor
of Civil Rights at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
